dodgeguy119 wrote:Is your stock steering box not going to work at all? If you don't have to run an astro box then don't do it. I stretched my jeep about 7 inches total up front and the pitman arm still sticks way out and is the first thing you will often hit on rocks.
I don't know really but most people who sas an s10 swap out the box for the Astro one so I just assumed it needed to be done in order to steer correctly.

So I talked to a guy named Garrett at ruffstuff today about my order that I made on 12/30 and it looks like my stuff will finally be sent out and I can get some work done over spring break. All I was waiting on was 5/8" tube adapters...

Yea man Dan @ Ruff Stuff is great but sometimes dealing with them is a little quirky. They held up my 60 parts (shackle hangers, spring hangers, u bolts, u bolt plates.......) over a t shirt I threw into the order. I had to call and explain the parts were a lot more important than a damn shirt and they shipped em out to me asap.

thinking about running these for front brake lines. they should be more than long enough but they are rubber so i might wrap them in some clear tubing or something for protection.

any opinions on these would be appreciated.

Those look good to me. I personally am a fan of rubber brake hoses. Think about how many cars are on the road with original OEM brake hoses...

got a little bit done over break.

mounted DIY 4x4 spring hangers
Image

also I cut down the overloads to make them just 3/4" zero rates and swapped out my shackles for the factory rear ones that were an inch shorter.

and just a picture of what it should look like once the rear gets swapped
