finally got everything back together and all ready to go, was super excited to drive it and got in, pushed the clutch and bammmmmmm smashed against the floor. Well shit the slave cylinder isnt bled right and since there isnt a bleeding fitting on these new fancy slave cylinders and it was getting late and i dont exactly know how to do it im waiting till tomorrow and hopefully it will be done then.

and i used ratchet straps to put the transmission back in place which was actually not that sketchy and worked very well.

Finally got everything back together the other day, bled the system and pedal was rock hard(way to hard). Checked all the hydraulics and they seemed fine which meant something inside had to be bad, tore the transmission back out yesterday and sure enough the throwout arm was sitting on the pivot ball crooked because the pin that hold it straight had broke. Noone had the replacement part therefore i had to order it and it will be here today then maybe i will finally be able to drive my truck tonight..........

got everything back together right this time i thought but now the clutch only works if the pedal is half way pressed down and will not work if the pedal is to the floor ANY IDEA? To thick of throw out bearing? clutch installed wrong? broken parks?

Also has some pretty crazy vibration from the rear at this point which i believe is being caused by using flange lug nuts on wheels that require cone head lug nuts. This causes the wheels to not be centered properly and ride really rough.

Update: At this point ive put about 7000 miles on the truck and towed a trailer quite a few times. A lot of stuff around town. i did pulling my jeep up to rausch which it did great during. Im not sure why people trash talk the 5.4 so much i was able to pull 85% of the way in 6th gear going 70 and only had to downshift if i was not going at least 70 at the beginning of a hill or some of the higher grade hills on 81. Also was able to get around 9-10 mpg which was much better than what i was expecting to get.

Also put more stickers on so im pushing at least 350hp at this point

Stumbled upon a good deal on some sweet fox racing resi shocks so i bought two and put them on the back of my truck... amazing that you can damn near bolt in 14" shocks to the back of a stock superduty.

More like a desert rat with more money in shocks on a beat up truck than its worth. Which is much cooler than a brodozer, but you'd still be a poser because you're a shore-redneck. :flipoff2:
