Some of the local crew have heard, but I bought another 6.0 motor to drop in with 74k miles on it. I'm having a shop put it in and they'll transfer over the studs and the bulletproof egr so I'll hopefully have this motor go for a while this time. I think I'll have it back on the road next week which is good news.

A few weeks ago the truck got back on the road. Refurbished turbo, arp headstuds, bulletproof egr cooler, and coolant filter. Since then I've started building a front bumper. After I finish this I'll work on steps and a rear bumper.

After bashing the truck when I took it to the shop I found a new hood and a few other things. Kept working on the bumper so its almost done at this point. Just needs to be sanded and painted. Its come a long way since looking like I had teeth coming off the grille.

Started the tear down on the old motor and haven't found anything too suspect yet. Plenty of metal in there but the source is still to be found. I've yet to tear open the hpop, but my buddy is putting his money on a rod bearing. Thankfully the cylinders look fine with the heads so I can salvage those at the very least.

So compound turbo the bullet proof one?
Can conquer anything in my path with my yellow turd. My truck doesn't burn oil it burns transfer cases at mile marker 187. My truck doesn't get dented it simply molds to it environment becoming faster and more agile. Patches is made from fence posts that were used to keep in the monsters from hell. Patches doesn't have horsepower, it has god power. Patches doesn't drive over rocks, it forces them beneath it because it is superior.

As much fun as that might be.. I think I'll stick to doing that to a project vehicle instead of my daily

These were the problem children. Got two of them out and the third is still stuck in the block. At the end of things there were three different cylinders that had an intake/exhaust lifter gone bad
