that's a good-looking four-eye you have there :) Taillight lenses don't appear to be fogged up, driver's seat is in awesome shape for the mileage, passenger door handle still has it's bezel (driver's side too, hopefully!) Awesome shape for the mileage! Toss on a dash cover and get to cruising :) Mis...

Got the wheels and tires on the truck today. Used 6 ounces of beads per tire to balance instead of weights. Drove around with the GPS to get a feel for my actual speed until I can get a new speedometer gear. http://i.imgur.com/L8KeX.jpg http://i.imgur.com/UyfGi.jpg My next goal is to find a lunchbox...

Yeah, they're GTs GT Savero MT to be a bit more exact. Also want to add to my todo list: Upgrade to a beefier alternator (I think I have a worn-out 70A one right now) and run dual batteries. Friday night I was up on the mountain at WUVT's transmitter and I managed to kill my battery. Thankfully ther...

83 F-150

I've been sparse around these parts since day one last year when I was looking for a truck. Last January I picked up this truck for $1800: 83 F-150, 300 inline 6, NP435 4-speed, NP 208, and some well-worn 235/75R15 Goodyear Wranglers http://i.imgur.com/857sP.jpg After snowpocalypse passed, I got her...

If it's a two-post, Dual makes a tape deck that will work. Even has an aux input on the front.

Heather's '01 Jimmy (and my '95 Blazer) have/had remote mount oil filters. If it wasn't so damn cold I'd see where her front driveshaft was.

What he said... all K5's are passenger side. A 95 S10 blazer I had was also passenger side (I remember that because it gets in the way of removing the starter).

Don't forget to check the tailhousing length and output shaft splines if it uses a slipyoke. You should be able to swap tailhousings and output shafts if its the same transmission, but it could be an indicator of a different one.
